Microsoft doesn’t seem to be running out of ways to discourage users from upgrading to Windows 8. Redmond’s latest strategy is to strip Windows Media Center from the next-generation operating system (Front Row fans may be getting deja vu right about now). WMC won’t even be available with the other free Windows Essentials applications. Early this morning, Microsoft announced another capability for Windows Azure and that is called Windows Azure Mobile Services. With this new service users would be able to add a cloud backend to their Windows 8 applications.
